Software update freezes on Windows

Issues with our software update freezing can be due to Windows compatibility settings.

To fix this issue, follow these steps:

  1. Right-click on the PokerStars icon you use to launch our software.
  2. Choose 'Properties', then open the 'Compatibility' tab.
  3. Under 'Compatibility mode', uncheck 'Run this program in compatibility mode...'
  4. Press 'Apply' then 'OK'.

Finally, retry updating our software.
