Only residents in Greece can play on PokerStars Greece.

If you are temporarily in Greece, you can't use the .GR platform.

 

How can I play on PokerStars while in Greece?

You can play on PokerStars Greece if you have a registered account in Greece.

To create an account, follow these steps:

  1. Go to PokerStars.gr
  2. Select 'Join' in the top‑right corner
  3. Choose Greece as your country
  4. Enter your personal details
  5. Submit the form

How do I get back my funds from an old account?

If you did not complete the migration of your account by June 2022, your funds are held by the Malta Gaming Authority (MGA).

To retrieve these funds, you must contact the MGA.

Player Withholding Tax (PWT) applies only in Greece.

  • If you move to another country, PWT does not apply
  • If you return to Greece and use your PokerStars.GR account, PWT applies again
